San Ramón Waterfall

This charming waterfall is located just outside of the town of Boquete and sits just off to the right side of the Caldera River. This waterfall is approximately 50 meters high and is well worth the visit during your visit to Boquete. You can access this place by car, you can see the waterfall directly from the road.

It is grate place for the outdoor picnic – clear river, high mountains and of course the waterfall San Ramon. There are also some good photographic opportunities here, so bring your camera along. Only few minutes further up the road is a bridge that provides a beatiful view of the Caldera River, as it heads south towards Boquete.

Como Llegar

To get to Boquete from Panama City take the Interamerican Highway until you reach David (450 km), there you have to turn to the right to follow the road to Boquete (The exit is right after the supermarket REY) Once you are on the road David-Boquete, continue just straight until you reach Boquete(480km). In the city continue along the main road to the top. On the way you pass the Central Square and little bit after the church, there is a intersection like Y, where there is a sign for Bajo Lino / Bajo Alto. At the next intersection make another left, following the signs for Los Naranjos. Later, make a right and follow the signs for Bajo Mano. There is no sign here for the waterfall, however, there is a bus station and public phone situated on the far corner. Shortly after, you will cross a bridge placing the river on your left side. Continue to the next intersection, where you will make a left. Here, there is a sign pointing to the waterfall, which it is situated on the right side. To get to Boquete from Panama City take the Interamerican Highway until you reach David (450 km), there you have to turn to the right to follow the road to Boquete (The exit is right after the supermarket REY) Once you are on the road David-Boquete, continue just straight until you reach Boquete(480km). In the city you can take a taxi which costs about $2.00 or you can go by walk. The waterfall is only a 1 hour walk from town, through beautiful scenery. See the instruction above.
